As I reflect on everything happening at WLLW, I’m reminded that this work has always been about more than design. It’s about people, stories, and the small choices that add up to lasting change. So much of what we do begins with a conversation – a question from someone wanting to make their home healthier, a story shared by a reader across the world, or a moment of inspiration in my own day-to-day life.
With that in mind, I’m beginning something new. Each month, I’ll be sharing a few notes from my desk – what’s inspiring me, what we’re working on at WLLW, and a glimpse of what’s ahead. Think of it as an open journal, a more personal way to connect and reflect on this journey together.
I’m continually amazed at how far WLLW has come. What began as a vision to reimagine the home as a foundation for health and wellbeing has grown into a platform reaching over 140 countries across six continents, connecting with hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. I’ll never forget one of the first emails I received from a reader in Mongolia who told me she was encouraging her village to choose healthier paint for their homes. Stories like these remind me that what we’re building together is not only global but deeply personal.

In addition to the free resources we provide on our site, we are now taking the next step – a deeper dive into how to create healthier homes. This new phase introduces practical how-to guides, personalized online consulting and our full studio services for those seeking comprehensive design. Each is designed to make the process of creating a healthier home feel less overwhelming and more attainable. Together, these offerings create different points of entry, ensuring that anyone, whether making small adjustments or envisioning an entire home, has access to clear, trustworthy guidance.
At its core, WLLW has always been about access. Knowledge about how to make our spaces safer, healthier and more supportive should not be reserved for a select few. By expanding the ways we share expertise, our goal is to make it easier for everyone to take meaningful steps toward a home that aligns with their wellbeing.
This next chapter is about widening the circle. I look forward to sharing what’s ahead and to continuing the work of showing that a healthy home is not a privilege, but the starting point for living well every day for us all.
Be well,
